Although spring popped up on the calendar last week, baseball lovers know that today is the official start. Because today for the first time since 1968, every MLB team will begin the season on the same day. With an estimated 72+ million spectators heading to 2,430 games (plus the post-season), Major League Baseball will generate over $9 billion in revenue, with millions spent on advertising campaigns to reach and engage with loyal fans.
